Boshamps Seafood and Oyster House, located on the beautiful Destin harbor, will spoil you with spectacular sunsets, sensational “Gulf to Table Southern Cuisine”, and family-friendly service all in a fun, relaxed casual atmosphere.
Owner Miller Phillips has taken the building that was formerly the Flamingo Café owned by his parents, and he added four fantastic decks that tier down to the water and provide panoramic views of the entire Destin Harbor. The large covered deck will have a full bar and tables for dining, and another deck will have dining as well, with brightly colored umbrellas to shade the afternoon sun. The third deck will have bistro tables and a smaller bar for guests that want to sit, visit and watch the boats come in.
Keeping it all in the family, the name Boshamps was fashioned by Miller’s sister, Ashley. She combined the names of Phillips’ three labs, BoBo, Otis and Shug, added Miller’s initials and came up with “Boshamps”.
Boshamps caters to locals as well as tourists and their families giving them a place to kick back and relax. The large, sandy beach area provides great fun for kids and adults with colorful beach toys, ring toss and corn hole games and comfortable hammocks to while away the afternoon. There will be live entertainment on weekends to enjoy too!
For all of the boat lovers, there will be docking facilities. After a fabulous day fishing, playing on Crab Island or enjoying Destin’s sugar white beaches, come tie off your boat, and let the Boshamps experience begin!!
