Great view, unit was very clean

This place was a great value for the price paid. Beach front property, centrally located, absolutely amazing pool, always enough table/chairs at pool area, parking space included in price, clean condo, two rooms/two bathrooms, 12 floors up with both bedrooms and living room having floor to ceiling windows with doors opening to patio. View of partial ocean and city. I have only one complaint and it has nothing to do with the condo itself. I booked through VRBO but this property is managed by Emerald Coast Vacation Rentals. I was sent a completely separate contract from this company to review AFTER I had booked and AFTER my credit card had been run. This contract completely insulates them from any and all things that could go wrong but has zero protections for the person renting if anything goes wrong. I read this contract and felt really worried but ultimately decided to move forward with the rental. For my family, the decision paid off and we had a great time but this is the first time I’ve come across other rental companies using Vrbo and I wasn’t expecting this because it would seem that Vrbo collects their fee and then signs off on responsibility for managing the relationship between the renter and the owner.

Thank you for reviewing St. Lucia 1204 at Silver Shells. Glad you enjoyed the beachfront location, pool, views, parking, and that the condo met your needs. I’m sorry the post-booking rental agreement caused worry — we send a standard agreement after booking to confirm reservation details, policies, and responsibilities; it’s meant to clarify expectations rather than remove guest protections. We appreciate your feedback and will share it with our operations team and the owner. Thank you again — we’re glad your family had a great time.

We had the pleasure of staying at Lucia 1204 and absolutely loved this cute little condo! Even though it’s tucked toward the back, the view is still surprisingly great — we enjoyed peaceful mornings and evenings soaking it in. The condo feels so cozy and homey, like a warm hug the moment you walk in. It’s thoughtfully set up, clean, and incredibly comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.Communication with the host was easy and responsive, which made our stay even smoother. We truly felt at home the entire time and would definitely book this condo again on our next trip to Destin. If you’re looking for a charming, comfortable place that feels personal rather than just another rental, Lucia 1204 is a gem!

I had some anxiety about the check in process cause u have to oick up keys and check in packet at a different location then the resort but it actually went smoother then we thought. First thing we noticed was how secure the resort was. From gate secruity to locked under ground parking. The resort was gorgeous and clean. Walmart was right across the street and it was close to many restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed staying at this condo. The location is perfect for going to the beach and pool as it’s super close to both so no need to drive. We didn’t rent a car and it was just a short Uber drive to other places around Destin. The condo was clean and very well maintained. We had a little hiccup at check in since we got there so early before we could check in but it wasn’t the fault of the host. I would definitely stay here again.

This property was great - clean and as described. We loved the location - easy to snag some things at Walmart across the street but the unit is located on the quieter beach side of the street. Covered parking spot with carts for unloading and locating was super convenient. The unit had great views of the water - two bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for us. Loved the access to full washer and dryer. Plenty of room to spread out and hang out when we turned in for the day. Loved the convenience of walking to the pool and beach. Community pool is big and heated. We will be back!

My family stayed at the Silver Shells Resort, St. Lucia Unit 1204 for a week for a much-needed vacation. We are always nervous when booking rental properties online because we've experienced gross misrepresentations of properties in the past. However, Unit 1204 exceeded our expectations. The condo is beautifully laid out, spacious, and immaculate. I felt very much at home in this newly renovated property and would definitely book this specific unit again.
