We had a great stay at monkey business! The location is only a minute drive or a few minute walk from the santa rosa beach access point along with the resturants and usually plenty of parking. It is located in a sleepier area between destin and PCB which is perfect since we were able to go to both on our vacation! We felt safe in the gated neighborhood and the neighbors generally respect quiet hours. The 24 hours of toilet paper and paper towels lasted two of us pretty much 4 days with some to spare. The towels and bedding were clean, the AC works well, and its got a great vibe. Overall, big thumbs up and hope to be back! Dont forget to sign the guestbook and look for our page for recommendations! T&e

Loved the design of the house. Great location to walk or drive. 30A was great. There was a few things we would have liked in the kitchen and bedrooms ie: tupperware, extra kitchen washcloths/kitchen towels, dish drainer, clocks, full length mirror, and foil. But overall i would definitely come back. The restaurants that really catered to our dog was awesome. Places to shop and the short trip to the beach. We love love loved our stay!

Monkey Business was just perfect for my daughters and I. We love going to 30A almost every year bc it is just 2 hrs from our slice of paradise in Coastal Alabama. Old Florida Village is a hidden Gem!! We loved the trees and character of this delightful neighborhood. We rented bikes and biked everywhere to restaurants shopping, exercise and beach. I highly recommend Monkey Business! It is very nice accommodations. We will definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful stay at Monkey Business! My husband and I traveled from NY with our two young kids and our Boston Terrier to explore 30A for the first time ever. The area is incredible, and this house was the perfect fit for us! We loved having it as our home base for the week. It was clean, super cozy, quiet, and the kids loved the pool just steps away! We stayed at a home called Monkey Business. This house is located within an HOA. There are rules associated with the HOA that are not included in the Airbnb listing. Most of the rules benefit the stay, however there was one in particular that was very inconvenient, which was no trailers of any kind. We trailed a motorcycle to enjoy during our stay. We arrived late in the evening and received multiple messages telling us it had to be removed immediately or there would be a fine. By 10:00 am the next morning we found a storage facility (incurred additional expenses) to keep the trailer. It would be helpful to expand on the parking limitations in the description on the Airbnb site BEFORE booking.

Lovely place. Great towels, beds. Tv downstairs was great. Upstairs had no cable which was concerning because of the hurricane !! Outside on the back patios both has wasp/muddaubber nests! Couldn’t use outdoor shower. Very nice place

The home was clean and well-equipped. The check-in process was simple and flexible. There is a lot in walking distance, including the beach, a nature preserve, and shopping. Additionally, the neighborhood is quiet and pet friendly, making it easy to walk my pooch!

Great little deck with wooded area behind. Back has fence running along the Back, which helped reassure us if our puppies got off their leash they would not get lost in the woods 😀 just around the corner was the beautiful beach. The home seemed spotless and all steps had been taken to sanitize everything there. We had awesome trip and will be staying here again. Security gate, lighting and overall security made us feel very safe in unfamiliar territory. The place to stay in Florida.

Monkey Business was just perfect for us and we will definitely book it again. The house was so comfortable. My husband and I are both tall and we really appreciated the high vanities in the baths and counters in the kitchen. The beds were so comfortable that I slept better than I often do at home. There are porches on both the front and back of the home and we enjoyed them all. The neighborhood is quiet and very dog friendly, which is important to us since we travel with our pup. We've rented many properties in the 30-A area and this is the best yet.

We just love this community. Tucked away but yet close to the beach. The 2 pools are always clean. Very comfortable beds and clean updated home! My husband, myself, and our 23-year-old son and girlfriend really enjoyed this spacious, clean, quiet home. It met all of our expectations based on VRBO descriptions. Appliances are nice and new. The property is beachy, comfortable, and clean. The location is okay, but rather a far walk from public beach access. That was okay with us because we drove to our favorite beach anyway. The neighborhood has many homes rather close together, but we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the neighborhood was despite that. Gorgeous house, comfortable beds, plenty of room... very nice.

It was just a few blocks to the beach and a great home away from home for our beach vacation. Old Florida Village is a convenient location to walk to the beach as well as several good restaurants and shops. The house is very nicely furnished and inviting. So thankful you allow dogs!

I want to start off by thanking the owners for their attention to detail. For example: Henkle's knives (alll sharp too); Mikasa English Countryside dishes; fine drinking/wine glasses; upgraded silverware; upgraded bath towels; fine bedding; the most comfortable beds; Cook's cookware (all in excellent condition); beautiful white slipcovers; upgraded carpet upstairs in bedrooms. We stayed at Monkey Business for 2 glorious weeks - my husband and I with our little 10# fur baby. We have been staying in Seaside and this was our first venture to a new area. We now intend on making Santa Rosa Beach our "go-to" from now on. The beach access from Old Florida Village is very convenient; there are many good eateries close by, hence not needed to go all the way into Seaside/Watercolor and fight the traffic; the neighborhood is very quiet and well-cared for. The 2 community pools are well maintained and offer a pleasant break from the sand. We had no maintenance issues to report. We arrived the Saturday Hurricain Harvey was reaching the tip of the Keys and weren't quite sure what to expect. Luckily the forecasts stayed accurate and the Panhandle wasn't affected but for some wind and rain on Monday. We rented bikes for the entire stay and were able to make it to Seaside!! I took great excitement in this accomplishment as I am 70 years young and not a biker. Once you get past the two uphills at Draper Lake and Blue Mountain the ride gets really flat from Grayton Beach on. We ventured into Panama City and rented a pontoon boat and spent a fabulous day on the bay water and at Shell Island. Our little pup enjoyed the outing as well. We sadly left yesterday and are already talking about our return visit, hopefully soon!

My wife and I stayed at Monkey Business over Spring Break and it was the perfect getaway! We can picture coming back here with friends, with family or just on our own... Just steps away from the pool and a short walk to the beautiful white sand beaches we heard so much about. The interior is gorgeously decorated, and we had everything we could possibly need to make us feel at home. I would recommend Monkey Business to any and all and will be back every year!

We stayed at Monkey Business for our girls trip. There were 4 of us but it could easily accommodate more. Everything seemed new and pristine and the decorating was very tasteful. The decor is subtly beachy, in a modern way, not the old garish colors some rentals have. We absolutely loved the porches. The back ones feel so private. We thoroughly enjoyed being out there for a glass of wine each evening. Easy walk to the beach and fantastic reaturants and shopping. Quick drive into Seaside and the rest of the 30-A. Amazing property. We can't wait to go back!!

I stayed at Monkey Business the weekend of April 30th, and I can honestly say this is one of the nicest, coolest places I've ever stayed in Florida. The house itself is amazing and feels brand new inside and out, top to bottom. It's amazingly comfortable and very peaceful, I felt better just stepping into the place. I was in Florida for an event, yet I had an incredibly difficult time leaving Monkey Business because I found myself so happy, comfortable, and relaxed there that I felt no need to go anywhere else. The relaxing balcony off the master bedroom overlooking the forest was particularly amazing and serene, one could spend hours there perfectly at peace just letting life's stresses melt away from you. Aside from the house itself, Monkey Business is located close to many restaurants and attractions. Beach access is within walking distance from the front door, and there is a pool across the street a few houses down. It truly is the perfect getaway location and I will definitely be staying there again in the future
