I selected the unit b/c of the pictures. I love a place that is decorated well. So often, the beachfront condos are decorated with corny "sea" themes with the cheapest furniture. This felt like home. Cozy. The water was hot and that view of the gulf! We pretty much stayed on the balcony most of our stay. Comfortable furniture inside and out. Impressed with private elevator. Communication and directions from Host was consistent and concise. Will plan to visit this unit again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo was very nice, had amazing views, and the complex amenities were excellent. We especially loved having a dedicated parking spot in the garage — that was a huge convenience. The only thing I’d caution parents with toddlers about is the layout/safety around the kids’ room. The room we used for our kids had a fire exit door that understandably could not be locked from the inside. The door leads to a stairwell, and while there is a card reader to get back in, a small child could potentially open the door and not be able to return without a key card. Along the same lines, the elevator opens directly into the condo, so little ones can call the elevator and potentially ride it down to the lobby if you’re not watching closely. That said, we would absolutely stay here again and had a great overall experience.

We had an excellent stay. From the check-in to the checkout, everything was smooth. The condo is just as pictured. Breathtaking views!!If you plan to cook, please bring hot pads. That was a sticky situation when I went to take a pan out of the oven We left coffee filters and the salt and pepper grinders purchased while there. This is a return trip for sure!

We loved working with ECVR, and loved this property. The unit is gorgeous, the sounds of the waves as you walk onto the patio are calming. The beds were excellent and everything was updated. It was Spring Break, and while other areas of town were crammed, this location was low key and lots of fun. We appreciated the site security with guard shack, secure underground parking, private elevators etc. Having private beach for the resort made the beach a fun and calm experience. The pool area was nice, clean and had plenty of chairs and tables. Our kids loved it. The location is PRIME and centrally located so you can sightsee, shop, and dine without much of a drive.

The condo was perfect for our family! With 2 rooms with king beds and one room with 2 full beds, we were very comfortable. I liked the private entrance off the elevator and the views were stunning! We didn’t use a lot of the amenities as it was a short trip but the property offers a lot. Would definitely rent here again.

Great location with great views! The floor to ceiling windows were very nice. The kitchen had everything I needed. I just wish we had extra toilet paper/dishwasher and laundry detergent. We had to go and get more detergents (and had to buy a lot more than needed since they dont just sell individual detergents). Other than that, our stay was wonderful. Private elevator entrance was very nice too!

Destin is my happy place and this condo is beautiful. Conveniently located in the heart of Destin with lots of amenities on grounds. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The rental company was very easy to work with. My one suggestion would be not to have to get your check in packet off grounds. It would be easier if it were left in the condo for the guest. Overall though not a deal breaker and we would stay here again.

The property itself is STELLAR! The condo was exactly as described & the views of the Gulf were EXCEPTIONAL!! -Check-in was not clear or smooth. The details we received in the AirBnB app were written in data code, and not decipherable. This was BEYOND frustrating! -I called to Emerald just before they closed, and was given the correct instructions over the phone. Which, we had to drive to their main office to get the key cards. THANKS SO MUCH TO HANNAH, our first day was saved!! She was patient, kind, apologetic, and understanding!! She had just gotten off work, but stayed behind to help us access our box. Something she absolutely didn’t have to do! That’s EXCEPTIONAL customer service!! -That level of customer care was cemented when returning the key cards to Emerald & I spoke with Allie about our arrival issues. She was so VERY helpful in trying to rectify the issues. She LISTENED intently & developed a plan to avoid these issues. DEFINITELY a 5 star property & team!!

This property had everything we wanted and needed. It’s one of the cleanest properties we’ve stayed at. The elevator opening into your room was an added bonus. We took our family for a week (all adults), and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property and location. There were a few broken things like the closet door in one of the bedrooms, oven drawer, freezer ice maker didn’t make ice for a few days and frosted over a lot, they said there were beach chairs but there weren’t. But overall, it was a great vacation and a great property. I recommend it!

I am glad you enjoyed your stay. The maintenance issues have all been addressed. There is beach service available from March to October yearly. It makes it easier to not have to lug chairs down to the beach. I love having the beach service right on our private beach. We cannot wait to see you again.

The amenities were great a well-equipped gym, and a relaxing pool area. The location was also perfect to beach with easy access to local restaurants. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better stay. This property is absolutely stunning! The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. Kitchen is nicely equipped and you have everything you need to prep breakfast or a meal. The balcony is big and overlooks the ocean, where we several times witnessed dolphins swimming by. Nearby restaurants are in walking distance or just a short drive away. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Great view of gulf. Repairs are needed though. Freezer does not give ice and it frosts badly. Laundry room doors are broken. Toaster has previously been dropped with a big dent. Some ants. Toilet paper holder need replacing as it is broken.

We love Silver Shells! The amenities are wonderful and our condo was great! We love the layout of the condos where you have a foyer and your elevator takes you straight to your room, no need to drag everything very far to and from the beach. Love the pool, the Sandbar has great food, drinks and service! Will definitely be back!

Unit 1207 was beautiful, clean and comfortable for 3 adults, 2 teens and a tween. The unit is just as it looks in the pictures. It is spacious, and well decorated with a full Gulf View from 2 of the bedrooms as well as the living area. It was clean and neat when we arrived. We have been staying at Silver Shells for 20 years now and this is definitely one of my favorite units. The only disappointing thing is that the beach service was not included in the price of the rental of the unit. Vacation rentals on the Gulf Coast have doubled in price over the last couple of years and it would have been nice to have the cost of the beach service included. My sister and her family rented from Compass and the cost of the beach service was included in the price of the rental and we paid the same amount for our rental

Excellent property, it's a little pricey but worth it!!! I love the elevator opening in the room lobby, private parking, private beach entrance, and private balcony. It was my friends 35th anniversary, the enjoyed the master bedroom!

This was our first destination Christmas as a family and it did not disappoint. This condo and the views are worth every penny. It is decorated perfectly and it gives the feeling of home. The condo was fully equipped so we could enjoy every Christmas tradition. We will be back. This place was perfect!

We had a great Thanksgivings week at this condo. Close to everything. Had everything we need to make a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Condo is beautiful and the grounds are clean and well taken care of. The only down part was the pool isn’t heated and the hot tub was not hot. But it was November so… the condo had supples for the first couple days so that was nice. It was a great week!

This property was stunning and spotless. Lots of room for 4 adults and 3 children. Wish there were bunk beds, but we were able to use a blow up mattress. Really beautiful decor and the views were incredible. Elevator doors directly to your room was so convenient.

We love Destin! The unit was beautiful! You will be pleased that you chose SM 1207! The beds were comfy. A few items that could use attention such as small table for the patio between the chairs. Also, I am always shocked at how sloppy housekeeping can be by not doing the simple things well such as wiping off a glass table top. Details are noticed. The ice maker did not work, however, the property manager emailed to schedule a service call since they were aware that it was not working. I would suggest the property manager be proactive and tell us before check in.

My husband, friends and I went down to Destin for a wedding and were lucky enough to find and stay at this property. The view is amazing, the community pool and jacuzzi were clean and the residents were friendly. The pick up of the keys after hours was seamless. There were 6 of us who stayed in the unit and we were all very comfortable and found it to be clean. We all look forward to staying here again in the future.

The condo appeared to have been recently updated. The unit was clean on arrival. The kitchen was well stocked (including crock pot) with plenty of pots, pans, mixing bowls, utensils, etc. The trash chute is located very close to unit so trash removal is quick and easy. We utilized the beach service (chairs/umbrella) and they were great! There’s also a small snack/bar hut on the beach that we tried and the drinks were great and the snacks we got were tasty! We only used the pool a couple of times but it was clean and very nice. This property is located basically across the street from a Walmart so getting basic needs was convenient! We would definitely stay on this property again. We ran into friends from our home town on our last day there and they told us it was their 18th year coming to Silver Shells! They love it that much!
