This is our 2nd summer vacay at “our” purple house. It is perfect for families with kids. When they get tired or too sunburned from the beach, you can just walk minutes home to your private peaceful pool or hot tub. It’s located a In short walking distance to restaurants, ice cream shops and novelty shopping. The front veranda is great for playing early morning board games or just sipping on a cup of coffee before you start your day. Our grandkids were 4 & 7 when we started coming here and they absolutely love the purple house. We will be back next year!

This house is fabulous! Clean, close to the beach…. We love the pool and the hot tub! The kitchen is well stocked with cooking tools. We had 5 adults, 2 kids, and our dog, with plenty of room. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a beautiful place n a quiet neighborhood.

Absolutely beautiful property! Amazing communication with the host and the home is exactly how it is described. Super short walk to the private beach. You can definitely tell where the private beach ends and the public beaches begin. Tons of space on the private beach with umbrellas and chairs set up for you daily. The public beaches are body to body, packed with umbrellas. The private beach is clean and beautiful! The hot tub and pool are both very clean and well maintained. The hosts even gave ou family a 100 restaurant gift card because they set up a new patio table while we were there, which it was no inconvenience for them to set the table up at all, they just went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay and enjoy we definitely did! The beds are so comfy! We will definitely be back to Santa Rosa and stay at La Bella Vita for sure. Thank you for a magical vacation!

We found a loose fence post on the gate and with an hour the tech was on it ! Communication with ECVR was easy and they were helpful and VERY friendly. I would definitely recommend this rental and ECVR to anyone. Our trip was wonderful and so easy.

Great location, walking distance to all amenities and located right across from private beach access. We loved the complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool and hot tub at the house were great, the kids loved it. The grill and outdoor space were good for a few cookouts and family dinner time. The sleeping areas in the house were great, and perfect for a family of 5. The downstairs floors are in need of a refresh, so they felt a bit unclean on bare feet. The air vents could also use a good cleaning as they were visibly dirty. Overall, it was a great house and with a couple minor fixes this would be a go to house in a perfect neighborhood for our family.

Four adults (56-79) plus 3 teenage girls. The house functioned well for all of us.Large Pool was heated enough that it was very comfortable. Teenagers loved the hot tub. The front porch and 2nd story porch were well furnished and wel loved sitting out there day and night. Only caveat; stairs were the winding, corner kind. Older adults had to traverse them carefully. All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. We had a wonderful time and very much enjoyed our stay in Rainbow Fish.

Fenced backyard was perfect. We thought there was an issue with the hot tub, so we reached out to the property manager. Can't say enough. The location, especially with the private beach, was worth the price alone. Can't stress that enough. Very comfortable house. We were two couples who travel a lot together, so we don't need a ton of space. Plenty of room for 4 adults to lounge when you wanted, post up by the pool, but you're at the beach for the most part anyhow! Beach is in a great spot. Crowded to the left, crowded to the right.... just avoid fall breaks. If the kids are in school, you should be cool! House is pretty well stocked. though there's only ONE dish towel.... We got some laughs because it got some use! Host was great, very responsive. Appreciate him very much. A did I mention surprise hot tub???? WE WILL BE BACK!!

We had a great stay at La Bella Vita! The gated neighborhood is in a perfect location, with private beach access and restaurants/shopping both in short walking distance. The beach chairs and wagon were awesome! The house and furnishings were clean, comfortable and attractive. The exterior could probably use a bit more attention on cleaning days (the outdoor tables were pretty gross and needed a good wipe down), but I'm sure the elements make it difficult to keep it pristine. Overall, it was a great rental. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Rainbow fish house with my daughter & her husband and two young granddaughters. The house and pool were perfect! The distance to the beach was so close and truly just steps away! We did have an issue with the clothes dryer not working, but they fixed it right away! Would stay here again.

This is a great little house just steps from the beach, and a 5-minute walk to shops and restaurants. We had no need for a golf cart here! The house has some updates, and some original/dated features; but none which impacted our stay. The private pool was a big bonus. We had a ball and would happily rent this house again!

We stayed during February, (off-season). House as advertised, clean, comfortable, and all the kitchen utensils you'll need. For us a bonus, kitchen had both a drip coffee maker and Kurig. Yard was completely fenced in which was great for our dog. Seemed like a quite gated community. Beach access is literally a stone's throw away! House had beach toys and chairs for use. Also, many tasty restaurants within short walking distance. We travel around quite a bit but if we ever comeback to Santa Rosa Beach (Destin), this would be our first choice for accommodations. There is also a local Publix grocery store a short drive away.

We loved the house and the pool was great! The absolute best part of the house is the location, it’s in a quiet cute gated neighborhood. The beach was private and the walk from the house to the beach is so close. My kids (10/11) could easily walk back and forth from the house to our chairs that are provided. Also every night we walked to the restaurants and shops. So fun for everyone! Hoping we can come back next year!

This home is perfect if you're looking for a short walk to the beach. The home sits in a private, well kept neighborhood. Don't want to cross a major highway to get to the beach? No problem. The home has a well stocked kitchen with a convenient walk out to the pool. Beds are super comfortable and living area is spacious.

We spent a week at this property and it was perfect. We were celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday with our 2 adult kids and their significant others and everything was great. We had 4 adults and two children staying at Rainbowfish. It was the perfect size for our family. Everyone slept comfortably and we were able to spread out. The size of the pool was perfect and seemed larger than most in the neighborhood. The pool company came twice during our stay for regular maintenance, so that was nice and it kept the pool sparkly clean. The location to the beach is the best part! It wasn’t a big deal if we forgot something and we had to hop back to the house during the day. The private beach for the neighborhood is not crowded at all and we didn’t have to worry about our chairs being setup behind someone else. The beach chair setup was a definite plus! My only suggestion would to include salt/pepper and maybe some cooking oil. Not a huge deal but I hate buying essentials like that. Sign up for Publix grocery delivery if you haven’t already!

We loved everything about the rainbow fish house. Comfy beds, the best pool, a five minute walk to fun restaurants and coffee shop/gift shops. 50 steps to the beach is absolutely accurate. The neighborhood is gated and felt really safe. 10/10 would recommend staying here and we are already looking at booking this same house next year.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rainbow Fish so much! We have been staying on 30A for nearly 10 years and this was by far one of the best stays we have ever had. This house was perfect for our family- slept 4 adults and 2 children (age 6 and 2) Very comfortably. Home was well furnished and kitchen was well supplied for cooking (we did more cooking than usual since covid). Is very close to restaurants for takeout and not far from publix. The location was ideal. It was 50 steps (at most) to the beach and beach area was private for just this housing community so much less crowded than the public beaches. It has a great backyard that gets a lot of shade in the afternoon which was perfect when returning from the beach. Our kids enjoyed night swimming and loved being able to go back and forth from the beach so easily. Omri the owner is very responsive and the complimentary umbrella and chairs that were set up everyday were great. Justin the property manager is very quick to respond too with any questions/issues although we really didn't have many. Great porch and balconies that we enjoyed in the evening. It is a cute and quiet housing community- we cannot wait to stay at Rainbow Fish again!

It was very hot while we were there and were so happy to hang out in the pool too. We thought the pool was the biggest in the neighborhood and very clean. House was as expected and very comfortable. This was our first time to stay at Rainbow Fish and we loved it! We have stayed other places in the Santa Rosa, but this is our favorite! Perfect location. There was plenty of everything- blankets, applianaces, pots and pans, linens, beach equipment and toys. We loved it!! The bedroom and bathroom situation was great for our family of 5. Communication with the owner, Omri and property manager, Justin was excellent! Since we had the reservations during the rental ban ending period we were conflicted with whether it was safe or not to keep our rental at Rainbow Fish. Omri and Justin both allayed our fears and assured us Rainbow Fish and Florida were ready and safely prepared for visitors. We have stayed in this neighborhood 7-8 times over the past 20 years although the first time at Rainbow Fish. RF worked perfectly for our family from the setup of the rooms to the great access to the private pool to the coziness of the living area. All of the bedding was super soft and the a/c worked great. The kitchen was very functional with a huge fridge and ice maker for the awesome Margarita machine that kept everyone happy. The proximity to the beach was great and highly recommend using the complimentary beach setup. We were able to easily have groceries delivered, door dash delivered and we picked up food from Shunk Gulley and Perfect Pig on more than one occasion. Rainbow Fish is in a perfect location in this adorable neighborhood and we will be returning again next year!

The rental company and the property owner were consistently in communication before and during our stay, and ensured that we were well taken care of. The house was spacious enough for our party of 9 (two families), although there has been a bit of wear and tear on the house since our last stay. I'm sure this is something that will be taken care of given that we stayed at the end of peak season. I would highly recommend Rainbow Fish to anyone!!

We loved our stay at Rainbow Fish! The location is perfect- steps from the beach, private pool with fenced yard and easy walk to the fantastic restaurants right across the street. We particularly enjoyed Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar, Perfect Pig, Pecan Jack’s and Sunrise Coffee company, all within a five minute walk or made even more fun with a bike rental from La Dolce Vita. I recommend arranging for your bikes to be delivered the day you arrive, they will be right at your house waiting for you to explore 30 A. The house was perfect for our family of four and big dog. We had plenty of space and enjoyed sitting on the porch and balconies. Showers were great and lots of clean bath towels. House has well working kitchen with lots of pans and dishes and dishwasher. My only negative review is that I wish it had come with more cleaning supplies so we didn’t have to run out to buy dish soap, detergent, all purpose cleaner and garbage bags. I would like the house we rent to have a basic stock of those items so we only have to purchase food. Overall, absolutely wonderful spot to stay right on 30A. The beach was private and we loved having the chair and umbrella service the whole week. We’ve already told lots of friends about Rainbow Fish and the kids are asking when we can go back.

My wife and I stayed here with our 5 year old son, and our 4 year old and 10 month old daughters. My sister, her husband, and their 18 year old daughter and her boyfriend also stayed with us. This house was perfect. The pool was great, and it was only a short walk to private beach and surrounding shops and restaurants. It was easy to go back and forth from the house to the beach. There were also two beach chairs and an umbrella set up for us every day. I don't think we could've picked a better place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rainbow Fish earlier this month. It is a lovely house, with all the amenities you will need. The private pool in the backyard is awesome...a few of our kiddos even enjoyed swimming there more than the beach. From what we could tell, it was one of the largest pools in the neighborhood. The Sunrise Beach neighborhood is also wonderful. It is a gated community with private beach access, and Rainbow Fish is literally 50 steps to the beach. It was awesome because our big kids could walk back to the house on their own and we were never worried about it being unsafe. The area around Sunrise Beach in Santa Rosa is great. Lots of fun shops and restaurants within walking distance. The location and house itself can't be beat. Communication from the owner Omri and property manager Justin exceeded our expectations. They were both very helpful and friendly. Rainbow Fish provided the perfect spot for a fantastic vacation, and we hope to return again in the future.

Rainbow fish was a very pleasant stay for our family of 5. Kids loved the house. We had a lovely time at the beach this past week. Though it was "off season" it seemed to fit our needs of a relaxing, low key time away from home. The location was ideal. Steps from the gorgeous beach and then dinner, coffee and local shops are across the street! Talk about convenient when you can walk into Cryastal Nails and get a much needed pedicure! We had happy hour at the oyster bar, dinner at the Perfect Pig and Fish house and another spot on dinner wa less than a mile down the road at Basmati Asian for happy hour and a delightful meal. I can promise you that this will not be our last visit to Rainbow Fish!

What an outstanding location! Rainbow Fish truly delivered in many ways for our stay! We woke up in the morning and went for walks/runs along the quiet beach front. Had coffee on the front rocking chairs and lunch by the pool. It is the perfect location for many reasons! We found it more than convenient to walk across to Happy Hour and for an afternoon pedicure! The restaurant options within walking distance were lovely! We will be sure to stay at Rainbow Fish again for future beach vacations!

Location, location, location … it's a short walk to the beach, and a short walk to Gulf Place shops and restaurants and also Pecan Jack's ice cream shop. We brought our two sons and their wives with us, and the six of us were perfectly comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked, the living area is cozy but not small, and the pool is a good size with plenty of relaxing seating around it. The owner communicated before our arrival and afterwards as well. I highly recommend Rainbow Fish -- it's a beautiful home in a wonderful gated neighborhood right in the heart of Santa Rosa Beach. We will be back!

This was our first trip to Santa Rosa Beach and it did not disappoint! The Rainbow Fish was the perfect place to stay! The accommodations were great and we had everything we needed. The Rainbow Fish is a very clean and well kept property, including all of the necessities for a day at the beach. The kids loved jumping in the pool after coming back from the beach! I loved that the beach was just a short walk away without having to cross 30A. Shopping and dining are within walking distance of the Rainbow Fish as well. The gated community was a plus! I would highly recommend staying at the Rainbow Fish on your next vacation to Santa Rosa Beach!

We loved Rainbow fish! Gated community. No crossing the road to get to beach!! The private access was less than 50 steps from the front door. Makes a huge difference when carrying beach gear and getting kids around. Loved being able to walk to Gulf Place shops for food and drinks. Rented bikes and took the path to several nearby shops and stops— again Location is everything! House was perfect size for 2 adults and 4 kids. Kitchen was completely stocked and loved having gas grill to cook on. Layout inside with all bedrooms upstairs was ideal. We enjoyed having space downstairs to relax / eat / hangout and then those that were tired could head upstairs to bed! The porches were awesome- shady and gave a peek to the water - just enough to allow you to relax and unwind! The outdoor pool was huge and a great way to cool off each day. The beach supplies - chairs, umbrellas, toys - were such a great treat and were put to good use. Owner Omri and property manager Justin were so responsive and easy to work with. We had no issues - and it’s due to the communication and organization that these two have in place! We would absolutely come stay again - just book early - this one fills up fast - and we know why!

The property is terrific! You know when a property boasts that it is steps away from the beach and it turns out to be a nightmare in reality? That is sooooo not the case here! You walk past one house to get to the beach access path. The master bedroom and bath are very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We enjoyed all the beach toys and chairs during the morning and relaxed in the shaded pool in the afternoon. And when we wanted to go eat or do some shopping we were only a short walk to a major retail area. This was one of the best family vacations we have had in years! Thank you!!

This vacation home is just perfect for families or a couple with small dogs like us. It is spacious and cozy at the same time. and outfitted with everything you need plus more . We really enjoyed making frozen drinks with the margarita machine . Rainbow Fish is truly steps from the beach access making a day on the beach so easy and convenient. We spent many lovely mornings and evenings rocking on the porches which allow you to take in the neighborhood but still offer privacy. We are beach people but found ourselves taking a daily dip in the pool which is the perfect size and also very private. We have vacationed extensively around the Carriibbean and the beauty of the beaches along 30A rival any of the island beaches we have visited. Rainbow Fish is located in a small gated community which is a 10 minute walk from Gulf Place town center where you will find excellent restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and a variety of shopping. It is also a 10 minute drive in either direction for additional dining choices and a great base for exploring the surrounding communities of 30A. The owner is welcoming and responsive and answers any questions immediately. We had a fabulous week celebrating our anniversary at Rainbow Fish and would highly recommend this home for your next vacation on 30A. It is a very sought after property so make sure you book ahead!

We spent two weeks here and had a great stay. The house is perfect and only a few steps to a private beach. The neighborhood is very quiet and you do not hear the traffic from 30A. The owner and Justin from the rental company were very responsive and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back to Rainbow Fish!

Rainbow Fish has everything you could possibly need for a great beach vacation. The owner and management company are extremely available, responsive and helpful. The house is very close to the beach and is stocked with beach chairs, umbrella, and other items. It's in the middle of a small community of nice homes on the beach side of 30A. Inside the home you will find that it is well-stocked with cookware and dinnerware. We were pleased to find they also have an electric kettle. We made use of their margarita machine, which was a great extra feature. The pool space in the back is not only nice but has a great deal of privacy, unlike many others in the neighborhood. We spent a great deal of time on the large front porch, which includes a ceiling fan. There are tvs, and instructions on how to use them, in each room, though we rarely turned them on. It is easy to see that the over puts a lot of personal care and work into this home. The only issue we faced was having to cut our vacation a day short to race back to Texas before Hurricane Harvey hit. We have stayed up and down 30A for the past seven summers and Rainbow Fish is now one our absolute favorites.

This is our second time staying at Rainbow Fish and it won't be our last! The owners are great to work with, and the location is unbeatable. You are literally just a few steps to the beach, and only a short walking distance to icecream, food, and shops. Rainbow Fish has become our repeat destination in the Florida Gulf. We love the location in a quiet gated beachfront community on the south side of 30A (no major road to cross). It is the perfect rental for two senior citizens who travel with a Yorkshire terrier and are lucky enough to have a grandchild who will come to visit with her parents. The pool in the back yard is icing on the cake. We enjoy the pool almost as much as the beach. The rental agent and the owner have been very helpful. Give them a call, you won’t be disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay at Rainbow Fish! The location was great - super short walk to the beach and several shops and restaurants and also very close to Publix (grocery store) to pickup any grocery items needed. The kitchen was one of the best stocked rentals I've seen. We had two families with 3 young children in the house for the week. We appreciated the large living area and the pool out back. Would definitely recommend!

This was our first time in Santa Rosa Beach and it did not disappoint! The house was perfect for our family of four but plenty of room for more. Very clean and comfortable and the location to the beach was great - I loved that we didn't have to cross 30A to get there. We had plenty of room at the beach unlike some of the other areas on 30A. There were plenty of chairs and sand toys at the house to take to the beach too. After being on the beach it was great to come home to the pool. The kids spent hours swimming! All in all, this house topped our list of rentals we've stayed in. We will definitely be back to Santa Rosa and will rent Rainbow Fish again!!

We stayed (My husband, mother,2 boys & a goldendoodle)over Spring Break 2016. We have stayed all along 30A and this house, hands down, is ideal in its location and amenities. We loved that this property had its own pool, was pet friendly and well appointed. Often times, pet friendly = run down. Not here. We loved that we didn't have to fight the spring break traffic. We walked everywhere. Gulf Place (located across the street) offers many great dining/shopping options and we found a fantastic ice cream shop just down the street. The beach was literally steps away! We cannot say enough great things about Rainbow Fish! Hope to be back for Fall Break!

My family of 5 adults +1 stayed at "Rainbow Fish" from August 13-August 20, 2016, and let's just say that we are ready to book another week and are having withdrawals from the sheer beauty of Santa Rosa Beach! In years past, we have spent several summer vacations in the Seacrest Beach/Rosemary Beach area and found Santa Rosa Beach to be far more relaxing and much less crowded. The private beach area for this community was relaxing and peaceful and we always had ample space to set up our beach gear for the day! The home is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a day at the beach! The beach access was even closer than I had anticipated! We found the house to be clean, comfortable and well equipped for preparing our own meals! We did have a few meals out and there were plenty of places to choose from within a short distance. We also enjoyed the shops and bars that were within a short walking distance. My adult children loved that they could walk up and get a Pina Colada to take to the beach. I personally loved that there were so many bath towels, washcloths etc... with six adults many were used and we never came close to running out! We really appreciated that Rainbow Fish is pet friendly as we do like to travel with our Yorkies, although I must add that I saw no signs of pets in the house, which made us realize that this home is kept very clean. I would return to Rainbow Fish for another vacation in a heartbeat and highly recommend this home to anyone considering a trip to this area!

Our family of five had a great visit to Santa Rosa Beach! We enjoyed our stay at Rainbow Fish and would recommend it to others traveling to this area. During past stays, we have stayed at Rosemary Beach and Watercolor and we enjoyed the Sunrise Beach gated community and location. The beach was a very short walk from the house and was not too crowded. Our children, ages 11, 10 and 7, loved the pool! It is a good size and was a nice option for us when not at the beach. The owners of this home and the property management company they use are very responsive and eager to help. They made sure our stay was comfortable and that any problems or issues were resolved as quickly as possible. They home is very well maintained and comfortable. There are several restaurants within walking distance and there is a Walmart and Publix grocery store a short drive away. If you enjoy sightseeing and eating out in the nearby communities, Watercolor, Seaside and Rosemary Beach are a short drive away. My husband played tennis several mornings at Watercolor resort, a 15 minute drive, for a small fee. We definitely recommend Rainbow Fish and the Sunrise Beach community!

We loved Rainbow Fish! This home has it's own private pool that seemed much bigger than others in the area. Plus, it is literally steps to the beach - no busy roads to cross - just a simple walk out the front door. The home is very well equipped and spacious. This was our first visit to Santa Rosa Beach and we loved the area. The location of this home is perfect as it's in a private gated community in a quiet area. However, everything you need is close by (restaurants, grocery, ice cream!) and also a short drive to Sandestin and Seaside! We will stay here again!

We adore Rainbow Fish! It was perfect for our family of four. The owners have done an amazing job of making the beach home comfortable and family friendly. I love that they have the children's book, "Rainbow Fish" in the living room which we read multiple times before bed. We loved the large porch with rocking chairs, and we could hardly keep the kids out of the pool. We loved the proximity to the beach and restaurants and stores nearby. We can't wait to stay at Rainbow Fish again!

If you are looking for a perfect home in an ideal location on 30A, this is it! The Sunrise Beach subdivision is located within easy walking distance of shopping (30A merchandise, art, kayak and paddleboard rentals, pubs, and a coffee house all at Gulf Place Town Center just across the street), a fish market (Goatfeathers two blocks away—will steam fresh shrimp for you!) and movie rentals (Thom Thumb Redbox). There is a Publix within a 3-mile drive if you need to re-stock. Local golf courses, and the other quant towns along 30A are a short drive away. The subdivision itself is wonderfully private and well-maintained with streets that are very safe for kids and pets, and the neighbors were so friendly. It was blissfully quiet and uncrowded during our early Spring Break stay. Two beach access walks within 30 yards of the home put you on the incredible sugar sands of Dune Allen Beach in less than two minutes (I counted!), and provide ideal locations for watching the sunset. The Praiss family has created a true “home-away-from home” in Rainbow Fish. We had everything we could possibly imagine we needed, and MORE (sparkling pool with fenced yard, computer and Wi-Fi access, margarita machine, outdoor gas grill with table and lounge chairs, beach chairs and toys, washer/dryer—there are just too many perks to list!). The appliances, kitchen, interior and exterior paint and floors are all brand new and this home is absolutely immaculate. The kitchen is the best stocked of any home we’ve rented. Each bedroom has a TV with cable access (plus a DVD player and big screen in the living room). Two front porches on the first and second floors benefit from the ocean breeze and rocking chairs provide that perfect spot for reading or conversation. Perhaps the best benefit of enjoying Rainbow Fish was the ability to have our “fur baby” along for the vacation. Very few properties on 30A will allow dogs, so I hope all future guests who bring their pups will treat this home with the respect it deserves, and allow Omri and Julie to continue their generous policy :-) This wonderful place earns our highest recommendation—well done, Rainbow Fish, well done!

We rented this prime location house twice previously and we surely know that the new owners have done an amazing amount of work to transform what was a previously tired house into a fabulous vacation home. We were welcomed by new hardwood floors, new stainless appliances (good ones too), new Quartz countertops and tiled backsplash. The house has been freshly painted inside and out. The rear private garden area is welcoming with sparkling pool, BBQ, loungers, table and chairs. It is steps to the beach. There are shops, restaurants, and a fish market within easy walking distance on lovely 30A. A cycling and walking trail is right outside the gate and stretches for miles. The owners and property manager are most friendly and helpful. Would we come back? You bet! We are already planning for next year.
