This house and location are ideal for small family beach vacations, we love the area and proximity to the beach. The main thing to note is this house is very dated...the appliances are older, the dishwasher has rusted racks, the washing machine shakes the whole house, the shower drained was clogged and took almost a week to resolve and the ice maker does not work (although the property provided 2 bags of ice). This house would be ideal for its size if they would just invest a little money in upgrades...but it was one of the more cost effective options in this area. The neighborhood is nice, the pool was nice and the proximity to food and activities was great.

We had the best view of the pool, so even if the kids wanted their freedom to go swim alone we were able to watch them from our balcony. Very close to the beach, renting the bikes was an excellent idea bc it made bringing our gear to the beach fun! Just load it in the bike cart! Forever memories were made, would recommend to everyone.

We had a great time at your place. It was a last minute stay for the latter part of Spring Break and convenient to beach, Goatfeathers, Golf cart Rentals, etc... The pool was heated for the kids and the neighborhood was quaint and quiet. No big issues at all. We would definitely stay here sgain.

great place to stay, second time staying in those houses and have stayed several times in old Florida cottages. beach chair and umbrellas rentals was extremely easy at this location as it is a public beach pier. it was a little too far for my mom to walk to the beach but just a quick drive and always had a parking spot at the beach entrance. listing explained exactly what would be in the house and that was all correct, had a small maintenance issue while we were there and it was resolved asap as soon as they were made aware.. great weather, great beach, and great vacation again.

Pops Place was exactly what we were looking for!! Quaint,cozy, comfortable, close to Florida’s most beautiful beaches- and wonderful walking and hiking paths!! Everything we love to do!! Just the perfect place for a little or a lot of R & R!!!

Great place to stay , we rented it out 4 people slept comfortably and we could’ve fit at least 3-4 more people as well, the beds were comfy , clean place, was less then a quarter mile of a walk to the beach it was in a great location, about a 5 min walk to the downtown area . Gorgeous house , also has a shower outside to help with keeping the sand out.

Fantastic property for a small family. Great location to a fantastic beach. Pool is essentially in the back yard. Great communication with the property manager (via text and phone). Had an issue with the washer which they provided a great solution. Awesome area with lots of dining and shopping near.

We had a great time. The trash policy was a little confusing because it was never picked up on the day we got frequent reminders about, and then we discovered too late that we were supposed to leave the cans on the curb for Thursday when checking out on Tuesday… read closely!

I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We have some of the greatest restaurants in the area. Mcguire's is one of Destin's best restaurants with the best steaks. I am so sorry about the confusion about the trash day reminders. We can't wait to see you again.

Perfect for me and my son. Everything was wonderful. Check-in/Check-out was seamless and the place was very nice and clean. Short walk to the beach and to restaurants. We rented a golf cart for getting around town. But not necessary.

Pop’s Place was great! For the location and the price, it can’t be beat! It’s a slightly older unit, as seen in the appliances and TVs, but everything worked great! Our family loved the quick access to the pool and easy walk to the beach. Those two conveniences alone make this home worth the stay!

It was easy to reserve, find, and it was so cute. It was a short walk to the white, soft sandy beach. We could walk to get food and go shopping too. Tons of great seafood was had. My husband even took our girls fishing. People were friendly and we felt very safe. I would suggest Pop’s Place.

Had a wonderful few days here right before Thanksgiving. Booking was easy and the place was bright, clean and fresh. It's not fancy but in great condition and perfect for our little family. The location is just perfect--about a 2-block walk to the beach access, right around the corner from the seafood market, and close to everything on 30-A but also quiet. Loved the tiny community and the easy backyard access to the shared pool. The listing didn't really play that up--it's basically out the back door, and it's HEATED! A great bonus for our November visit. The only thing that I'd nitpick is that the info we received says checkin is 4-6 p.m., and 6 o'clock is just too late to wait on a check-in day, especially if, you're only coming from a few hours away. Fortunately, we showed up a little ahead of time and the place was clean and ready for us so no problem. Would 100% stay at Pop's Place again! Thanks!

This is our second time to be here and we plan to come back again. Place is clean and kitchen is well equipped; beds are comfortable. Short walk to the beach and several good restaurants within walking distance. It is also quiet. Seaside and watercolors are short drive away. WiFi is also fast which my husband appreciated when he logged in to work a few times

This neighborhood was great for our family - minimal vehicle traffic and very easy beach access. Nice sidewalks for a jog with stroller and stores and restaurants within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. We have been to Santa Rosa Beach prior, and found this location to be one of the most convenient. It’s a very short walk to the beach and close to restaurants. The credit towards the rental gear was also a nice touch. We were able to rent a beach cart that made the walk even easier. We plan to come back.

Just what we needed for 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The place was clean and cozy. The area and beach access were a little overcrowded, but it was our first time to the 30 A area so we didn’t know what to expect. The beach was beautiful; and it was helpful that we had rented a golf cart to transport our group and all of our beach gear in the heat. I would definitely recommend this house. The owner was also very responsive and helpful on our day of arrival.

We had a great time staying at Pop’s Place. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s less than a 5 minutes walk to the beach access and the pool is right next to the house. Goatfeathers is a great lunch or dinner spot just around the corner. Can’t wait to come back!
