Our vacation stay was overall wonderful. The property itself is absolutely incredible, and everything was excellent for the most part.One of the showers on the property was clogged and the water was not draining properly, but the issue was addressed and fixed immediately, which we really appreciated.Unfortunately, we did have a more serious issue with the non-primary bedrooms. We found bedbugs in those rooms, and unfortunately, our children were bitten. This was very concerning and definitely affected our experience.Despite this issue, we appreciated how quickly the shower problem was resolved and how beautiful the property is. We hope the bedbug issue can be thoroughly addressed for future guests.

The house was really nice and very close to the beach , less than 5 minutes away with a walk way to the beach !! Clean linen’s on beads and everything you need in the kitchen , just be prepared if you stay more than one day with toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels .. there are grocery stores very close by .. other than that, the place is nice and relaxing.

This house was a perfect fit for our group for spring break! The house was spacious enough for everyone to have a place to sleep, and a place to sit. The beds slept great, and the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The kitchen had enough room to cook in - we even grilled out one night on the gas grill provided! The beach was a short walk, and if you forgot anything, there is a store close enough to walk to! Loved the area! Would stay here again!

Awesome place to stay. We loved the house! We had everything we needed to cook and make ourselves at home. The beach is literally only a 2 minute walk. The neighborhood is so quiet and cozy. We walked around the neighborhood a lot with the kids. The beach was secluded. There was the perfect section for us to set up everyday. We had such a good time at this place!

Great location to Outlets, grocery store, and best of all - the beach! Could have been a little cleaner but wasn’t by any means filthy. We were disappointed we didn’t have access to bicycles. WiFi modem was powered off then we got there and wasn’t given good instructions i. How to locate it. After searching high and low, found it and was able to use WiFi. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is in a good location, easily accessible to the beach and near to a lot of places. The kitchen is a well equipped, but the refrigerator is too small for long stays, is you need the freezer above all. The grill needs an upgrade and the light in the garage doesn't work. It would be necessary to place more towels and blankets, beacause they were incomplete for 8 people. The oven light and cooktop light not working. However the property has a lot of potencial, if those little things are fixed. The community is quiet and familiar, The wifi is super good, much better than the previous year. We will surely return in the future, Aventon has become part of our memories.

The property was perfect for our family. The location is great although it’s a bit tricky to figure out how to get to the street. It was an easy walk to the beach followed by an easy walk to the community pool. Pool was great. Our AC went out one day and a repairmen was out there within an hour. He repaired it quickly. As mentioned in other reviews the lights seem to go through light bulbs like crazy. By the end of our stay several bulbs in ceiling lights and lamps went out. But all in all it was a great stay.

The pros: Proximity to the beach, shopping, and amenities. The cons: The lights were low wattage so we had to turn on a lot of lights. The front door was hard to open. If you have great hand strength its no problem, but we learned if we did 2 succinct, quick turns to the left it will open. Overall it was a great trip and very relaxing.

We've now stayed in Aventon twice for family vacations. We love the location- pool, beach, close to grocery stores and restaurants. There is plenty of space for everyone to sleep. The kitchen is fully stocked for all our cooking. We've loved relaxing on the porches. We will be back!

The property manager was very accommodating. I emailed questions about beach rental and directions and promptly received answers. I called late Saturday to request extra sheets and someone drove them over within 20 minutes of making the call. Thanks!

Nice little property. Fantastic beach access. Road construction near the adjoining access street made access a little trying during peak periods. Construction won’t last forever though.

Nice house. We really enjoyed our stay. We had a problem with the trundle bed but the management was prompt with repairs the morning after we checked in. Very short paved walk to the beach, which was pure perfection. No stinging jellyfish, pristine sand, and clear, clear water as far as the eye could see. Also, everything you might need is close by at Silver Sands across the street and multiple grocery stores and drugstores around the corner.

This is a cute and spacious condo, and it is perfect for a relaxing trip to the beach. There is a grocery store close by, so we stocked up on groceries and could have never left the area. Short walk to the beach and nice shared pool. It is also close to plenty of good destin restaurants, shopping, and more. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My family loved staying here! We were within a short walk to the beach. We loved the path that led to the beach. It made my husband and I feel safe, that our children didn't have to walk along a street (We have younger children). Every thing in the house worked well and we all had a great time. Hope to visit again in the future.

My family had an excellent stay at the cottage and plan on renting it again in the future. All of the amenities were in great shape and it felt like home. The beds were very comfortable and the living/dining area was spacious. Very short walk to beach and grocery store 1/4 mile away. Also bc it is on the east end of Destin the traffic was not too bad and provided easy access to 30A attractions.
