Crystal Villas 12B

Four of us had a great stay. Appliances worked. Beds and couch were very comfortable. Balcony view was awesome and the balcony itself was more spacious than others I’ve stayed in. The upstairs sink and shower drained a little slow so we bought some drain-o ourselves but it didnt resolve the issue but it wasn’t the end of the world for us. We didn’t use the pool but the property itself was pretty clean. The spots on the beach did fill up pretty quick so claim your spots early if you go during the busy season. We reserved two extra chairs so we were able to get a reserved sign on our chairs and didn’t have that issue. Overall, we will most definitely be back!

Best views of the beach from the balcony! The condo was decorated beautifully and had a very cozy, homey feel. The only downside is that there is no elevator to haul all of your luggage/coolers up and down. Overall a great stay, though!

This was the first breach front property I've stayed in, and I have to say the view is priceless. getting up each morning and seeing (and hearing) the ocean was incredible. the living space is roomy, ample kitchen and it was a fusion of homey, modern, and clean. The instructions given were clear, the host is responsive, i have nothing to complain about and highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I always take an end of the summer trip to Destin and this was by far one of our favorites. The condo was everything we were hoping for. The proximity to the beach was fantastic and the provided beach service was an added bonus. The pictures of the condo do not do it justice. It was so clean and beautifully decorated. It was stocked with everything you could think of if you were wanting to cook. We had our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the Gulf. I am ready to book for next year.

My family enjoyed our stay here. The condo was clean, beautiful, and looked just like the pictures. It is right on the beach. The view was absolutely beautiful. It is close to a public beach entrance but that was not a deal breaker. I was initially worried that being on the 3rd floor with no elevator would be a problem for my mom but it wasn’t bad. We would definitely stay here again!

My family absolutely loved this condo! The condo itself was beautiful, great ocean views, we got to see dolphins every morning!! The amenity of beachside chair service was greatly appreciated! Highly recommend this property. Owners are beyond amazing! Had a few minor issues and the owners were extremely quick to take care of the issue (tub facet broke at 10:30 pm - they called a plumber that was going to fix it that night). The location was right on the beach perfect location. This was perfect for 2 adult couples with the 2 King Beds and 2 bathrooms. When vacationing in Destin again this is the property I will use.

We absolutely loved our stay. The condo itself was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Plenty of seating, plenty of counter space for cooking (which we did A LOT of because we wanted to limit how many places we went), and a beautiful ocean view. The beach is probably the best we’ve seen in Destin - and we always stay in Destin when taking a beach trip. The water was crystal clear even at waist level. We will definitely book again!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location and access to the beach is great, and I really appreciated the updated, nice interior of the condo! Crystal beach is amazing, the sand and water are second to none. From the beach you can walk 10 min to the left to 790 for some great beachfront food and drinks, and 10 min walk to the right is Henderson Beach state park. It’s also a 15 minute uber to the Harbor walk and a 15 minute walk to Alvins Island (if you need beach accessories) and to some decent restaurants. The beach area in front of this condo is definitely more private than the immediate surrounding beach areas which felt nice during this time. Each condo comes with two chairs and additional chairs are $35 for the day. Having the chair service and option to rent paddle boards (although we did not) is a nice plus. My only complaint, is that we were lacking some basic items. We were only given one trash bag and two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. This might be custom for VRBOs and we weren’t prepared, but just a heads up to grab trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent, laundry detergent when you make your Saturday Publix run! You will run out. Otherwise, all in all we loved the place and had a great time!! I researched a lot of properties and really felt this was the best value. Highly recommend!!

Our family, including our adult children thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms and living area were spacious, updated, and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beach was perfectly beautiful. The week provided an escape from reality, and the worries of 2020. Because Crystal Villas is a low-rise and has its own beach area, we felt comfortable staying here; the beach chairs allowed social distancing. Wish we were still there!!

Nicely decorated and very comfortable, very clean and well kept condo right on Crystal Beach. Less than a mile to shopping, groceries, restaurants at Destin Commons. Walk down the beach to great seafood at 790, Crab Trap, Camille's or Beach Walk Cafe. Kitchen is well appointed with new quartz countertops and huge island. Newer ceiling fans and newer fixtures in both baths. Furniture on balcony is better quality than other condos we've rented. Owner is very responsive.

We loved the unit location and set up. The owners were very responsive to our questions, and we did not have any issues to address with them. One opportunity would be to have a talk with the cleaning crew. It doesn't look like they use sufficient amount of laundry soap on bedding and especially towels, and the staircase carpet did not look like it had been vacuumed in quite a while. Otherwise a nicely furnished unit, great for a small family.

Crystal Beach was stunningly beautiful. The white sands and crystal clear waters were breathtaking. Condo 12B provided an excellent top floor view to soak in the vistas. We were able to see dolphins carelessly swimming by. The added benefit of ocean front chair service was a big plus!

5 stars x2! The condo was perfect for our family of 5. We walked in and it looked just like the online pictures only the beach view was BETTER! The Crystal Beach area is a hidden gem we very much enjoyed! It’s steps to the beach, walking distance to a playground. A quick drive with NO traffic to the grocery store and outdoor shopping areas. Josh and Meghan were so kind and checked in on us making sure we had everything we needed. I can even say grocery delivery and Amazon prime delivers right to the doorstep! I have traveled from coast to coast on business and stayed at some very nice hotels but this condo at Crystal Villas was one of the nicest places I have stayed. It is perfectly appointed with all the comforts of home and is located right near anything you may need from restaurants to grocery stores. And the BEST part is the location on the beautiful white sandy beaches of the Florida gulf coast. The beach is private and not over crowded. Josh and Megan graciously answered all my questions before our trip and even checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was going well. It was a wonderful experience for our family and we already can’t wait to go back. And when we do we will surely plan to stay here.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The condo was very nicely decorated and had everything you need for a good vacation. It had plenty of room for us 4 adults and a beautiful view of the beach. We took a vacation without the kids (although this condo is plenty big enough for them as well). It was incredible! Gorgeous place and perfectly located in Destin. The condo had everything we needed and the beach set up was perfect. We plan on staying in this exact unit next year as well. The beach was pristine and water a little brisk ! We loved it. The condo was beautiful and clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the cookware we needed to take care of ourselves for the week. Everything you need is within walking distance. One morning we watched from the deck a “pod” (or school) of dolphins swim by. I would love to come back sometime.

We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful beach front condo. We love this location, and the gorgeous view!! The condo is very clean, open and spacious feeling. We felt right at home. My only complaint was that there were no beach towels. We have stayed at many beach front condos and have always been supplied with beach towels. Five large beach towels takes up much need space when traveling via car or air. We would defiantly rent this place again!!

We arrived in Destin really looking forward to staying at Josh and Meghan’s place. Well it was pretty much as advertised. The bedrooms are really a good size with king beds that were very comfortable. The main bedroom on the ground floor has a fair bit of closet place too. This place has 3 TVs which is rare I would think..........with lots of channels. .The view of the gulf is amazing and usually sheltered from the wind. The kitchen is a good size and is real nice. Please note that it is on the 3rd level and does not have a lift of any kind. We ran into a couple who rented and were not happy when they found out they had to walk up stairs. The internet worked great. Maybe the best thing about this place is the location. It’s a 10-12 minute walk to anything you could ever need. Josh and Meghan were quick to respond to any questions we had, usually within hours. If you have never been to Destin, I can tell you the beaches there are second to none. Hope to be back again next year. Thanks guys.

This condo was so much more then we expected. It was perfectly decorated, very up to date with a beautiful beach view! There’s not an elevator but that didn’t effect our stay. We loved the chairs and umbrella that were supplied as well! We will definitely be back next year!

Beautiful decorated condo central to all of Destin! The condo had all of the amenities we needed. The open floor plan was awesome for our 9 month old daughter who is crawling everywhere. The included beach chair made it easy and was always setup early. The weather and water was the best it has ever been in the last 6-7 years of coming to Destin on vacation. This condo was so clean we had to ask the cleaning lady what she used. Thanks Megan for allowing us the opportunity to stay and we hope to be back next year!

This was the perfect place for our family of four. Everything was very clean, beautiful décor and the view was breathtaking!!! The set up beach chairs and umbrella every day was a plus!!! We absolutely loved our stay here and can't wait to return!!!

Beach and location fantastic, even though it is next to public beach access it was one of our better stays ever. Beach service really incredible, loved most of all how they don’t allow even guests to set up tents behind chairs and umbrellas, beach looks and feels so much better.

This condo was perfect for our family. It was clean and comfortable. The location was ideal. It was close enough to go to stores and restaurants but also felt private. The beach umbrellas and chairs were WONDERFUL. The beach is private so it’s not overcrowded. We loved our stay here and hope to come back next year. Thank you to the owners for your hospitality!

This is the second year in a row in which we’ve stayed in this condo. We love the location and proximity to the beach. The condo owner, Meghan, is helpful and considerate. There are three of us and we each have our own spaces to spread out and relax when indoors. There are three TVs with cable and streaming capability. WiFi, too. Camille’s is a block away for coffee, pastries, fresh juice and adult drinks. We haven’t eaten dinner there yet but it is one of three restaurants within walking distance. Publix is across the highway (couple minute drive.) There is a mall across the street from Publix. The balcony is quaint and comfy. Everything is clean and we feel safe. We don’t consider these cons regarding the place but FYI: There is no elevator so we pack lightly. Also, parking seems like it can be scarce but we’ve never had a problem. There is public access to the beach on one side of the condos but we just get out there as soon as beach service arrives to snag a quieter spot.

This condo is absolutely beautiful. Had all amenities (remember to bring trash bags) and was very comfortable. The proximity to the beach was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The extra perk of the 2 beach chairs and umbrella daily was awesome! Our family ranged from 4 to 56 and we all loved it. We watched dolphins from the balcony and never heard any neighbors, only waves. Be aware , it is on the third floor with no elevators, but we were warned in advance and that small detail was only a minor inconvenience when bringing luggage in and out. I have already recommended this unit to several co-workers.

Destin's beaches are some of the finest we've found in our travels, and this condo places you just steps from that white fluffy sand and clear water. The unit itself is very well appointed and offers open spaces and was perfect for our family. The updates are lovely and the place quickly feels like home. The private beach makes you feel like a celebrity, and gives you a ton of space to spread out and enjoy the sun. There are tons of shops and restaurants within a short walk, and within a 10 minute drive is just about anything you could hope to find. Friendly people, great location, great beach.

Crystal Beach is beautiful, the condo is wonderful, very nice and bigger inside than what we thought. Access to the beach is like stepping into your backyard and the 2 chairs and umbrella that come with the condo are set up each day, just see the guy at the table on the beach, Cameron and he will take care of you. We are planning on coming back and renting this same unit, that is how perfect it was. Close to everything, tons of restaurants, and Publix grocery store just a mile up the road. Camille's Coffee Shop opens at 7am - 5 pm and is just a small walk from the condo, we went almost every morning and purchased coffee, fresh juices, smoothies, and the avocado toast is amazing. Camille's for dinner is upstairs and has the best sushi, must try the Backdown role !!!!! Property owner Meghan checked on us upon arrival which was very sweet. The entire process was seamless. We had a great experience! The condo is updated in a upscale beach flair. Just perfect. We enjoyed the very large flat screen in the living room, but really liked the easy access to the beautiful beaches. We are a local family family from Niceville and needed extra room during the Thanksgiving break for our guests. It was a perfect location and our drive home was really short ;).

Great clean condo. Nicely updated with comfortable furniture and beautiful decor. The family loved the 2 huge TV's in the upstairs bedroom and living area. Kitchen had all the cookware needed for cooking. The view is absolutely amazing from the balcony and inside the condo. Beach service was perfect, we enjoyed having the two chairs and umbrella. The condo is in a great location - close to grocery stores and restaurants. We had a fantastic week and the communication from the owners was much appreciated. Will definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Crystal Villas, unit B12, was great! This beachfront unit has been completely updated inside with modern finishes, personal touches, and everything we needed for our stay. The dedicated beach chairs and umbrella are a definite PLUS! Crystal beach is like a hidden paradise! Not overly crowded; within close distance to anything a person could want or need. Hurricane Irma was bearing down on us a day or two but once she was gone, the weather was fantastic! If you're looking for a quiet getaway with an unbelievable view (think mornings and evenings on the balcony), you will not be disappointed! RENT.THIS.UNIT! We are looking forward to booking it for our next vacation.

We had an amazing stay at this property! It was our first time in Destin, and we are so lucky to have chosen this unit. We enjoyed the chairs and umbrella that were set up for us each morning and appreciated the quiet atmosphere of these condos. The location was great, as it was super easy to access many stores and restaurants. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. The design and décor of the unit was clean and updated. We loved our stay in Destin! This beautifully updated ocean front condo was perfect for our family. The location was great and easy to find. The condo had everything we needed for the week and the chairs and umbrella made going to the beach easy. Although the pool was small, it wasn't an issue because there were not usually too many people there so this did not bother us one bit. My kids enjoyed swimming there every day after we came in from the beach. They even made a few friends staying in the complex :) Meghan and Josh were great to work with and made everything easy. We hope to return some day and will stay here again if we can!

Owners were super accommodating on expressed needs. The condo itself was immmiculate, and set up with basically everything needed to enjoy this slice of paradise. It's location was perfect for grocery store trips, take out runs as well as a full choice of other good eateries and things to do. I would HIGHLY recommend this location at any time of the year. From the busier peak summer times to the quieter off season there is not a better deal for these million dollar views and beach access.

Very nice condo! Spoke to other renters in the building and this unit is more up to date than some others. Working with Meghan was a breeze, very responsive and accommodating. We have two children (7 & 6) and they slept upstairs, while wife and I slept downstairs. Defiantly would rent again, specifically B12!

We loved our stay here. It is a recently updated condo right on the beach. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. Loved the two king beds. The kitchen is nicely equipped with all the hardware you need. The wireless internet is quite fast. The tv in the living room is huge as is the one in the loft. Having the beach chairs set up is a wonderful thing, the beach fills up quickly, those chairs are a must. Our trip was not what we were expecting because of tropical storm Cindy so we spent more time inside than we expected, we were sure glad we had this beautiful place. The pool is small, only a capacity of 10. Normally probably not an issue but since we could not be in the gulf due to the storm, we spent many hours at the pool. The owners communications were so helpful and kind. Check in was a breeze, we had a text before we arrived at the unit. She even checked in with us after hearing about the storms in the area, very sweet. The only thing we were surprised at was the lack of supplies. To keep costs down no extras are provided. Renters should bring their own trash bags, extra paper towels and extra toilet paper. The unit has some but no refills that are needed throughout the week stay. We understand why and appreciate that, just wished we knew in advance and we would have packed those supplies rather than having to purchase after arrival. Overall we are thrilled we chose this condo. I would recommend it to anyone. We will definitely be back.

This is a fantastic condo in a great location! Sleeps 6 comfortably and offers an incredible view of the Gulf of Mexico. The owners even threw in two chairs and an umbrella on the beach. Every morning around 7 am the chairs and umbrellas are put up for you. All you have to do is show up and decide which one is yours. The condo has great amenities as well. Two large screen TVs, Keurig, coffee maker, DVD player, and a kitchen full of about anything you would need to make your stay complete. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a great stay on one of the best beaches in the world. We researched a number of properties in Destin on the beach and this property cannot be beat!

My family and I enjoyed a lovely vacation while staying in this condo. It was very clean and spacious for my my family (four adults, one child). Cleanliness is an important factor in being able to relax on vacation and I was very pleased upon arrival. The complex is older but this condo has been generously renovated and it is very nice. Receiving the door code before arriving made check in a breeze. The owners of the condo were very hospitable as they sent a text to welcome us, make sure that we had everything we needed for our stay and inform us they were just a text/call away should we need anything or have any problems. The location was perfect. The complex is right on the beach, which is so important if you have a small child and have several things to carry. Being on a private beach and having two chairs and an umbrella reserved for the guests of the condo was a wonderful addition! It truly made life so much easier not having to carry those things to and from the beach. The condo is on the third floor and there is no elevator (that I was aware of). This was not a problem for us but might be something for others to consider who have difficulty with stairs. I decided to go ahead and rate with 5 stars because I felt the rating is specifically for the condo B12 itself and not the overall complex. As for the complex, what we didn't care for was the pool. I think it is considered to be an indoor pool but it is more like a greenhouse with a pool in it. Wasn't a big issue since we prefer to spend most of the day on the beach! My only suggestions for the owners would be to maybe consider a new mattress for the bed upstairs. It sinks quite a bit when you lay on it and it just seems like it has seen better days. I would highly recommend B12 at Crystal Villas to anyone considering an affordable ocean front stay in the Destin area! We will certainly be back! Thank you for having us! Aimee
