Beautiful waterfront townhome with all the amenities. Two balconies wide open ocean front views. Beautiful white sandy beach and crystal clear water. Easy to get to great dining places and shopping. We loved our stay and we hope to come back soon.

The location is unbeatable!!! The property has an older feel and would benefit from some basic updates and maintenance. The tub caulking could be refreshed, the back door is somewhat difficult to slide, and the internet service is occasionally unreliable.” But overall it was a great time... just a few steps from the back door and you’re right on the gorgeous Miramar Beach. The emerald-clear water and beautiful white sand were breathtaking. Being able to walk straight from the property to the beach made everything so convenient and relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better beach location and would definitely stay here again!

Easy 1 Mike walk to venue. Beautiful setting right on the beach and across from a Circle K which made it easy to find every time.

The location on the beach was fantastic…off the deck and directly into the sand. Everything was exactly as described and perfect. I would recommend renting the entire unit if possible. The only negative we experienced was having to share the private beach (17ft width) with the renter above us. The renter would set up his beach chairs etc at 7am and then not use them until 1-2 pm..just inconsiderate of others…but this was no fault of the owner. Would I stay again? Absolutely 😎

This reservation was a big hit with my wife and kids. You couldn't get any closer to the Gulf unless you were in the water. Stepping off the wooden deck steps directly onto the white sands and eating on the 1st floor balcony deck right above the grassy dunes with the views and sounds of the waves was awesome. The kitchen, A/C and sofa bed was perfect for the four of us. Private beach meant no crowds too. A beach bar is a short walk along the white sands.

Absolutely LOVED staying at Sticks in the Sand 7B! It was very clean and most of all a wonderful location. There was plenty of room on the beach for my kids to play and for us to relax without being on top of other people. If we had to go back to room while on the beach it was just a few steps away. Your feet go from the stairs to your room right to the sand on the beach and that was wonderful for us with the kids. We will definitely be staying there again in the future. 💛

I picked SITS for its location. I attended the Tedeschi Trucks Sun Sand and Soul shows at the Topeka site. The venue is a less than 1/2 mile walk. Perfect combo of show proximity and beach access. I was solo, meeting friends so the studio set up was fine. But it would be a little tight for more than 2 people and/or more than a few days.

Being directly on the beach is the only way to go. No having to pack up your car or walk blocks to get to the beach. Just a few steps from your back door and you are on the most soft powdery white sand imaginable. The beach was not crowded since its a private beach! This unit is perfect for 2 people. Bed is comfortable, a/c works great. The toy closet downstairs has most anything you could want to play with at the beach. Full size kitchen and washer dryer were awesome. Love the town of Miramar as all the houses and landscaping are beautiful. Quieter than the hustle bustle of Destin yet only 5-10 minutes away from everything in Destin. Perfect choice!

We stayed for a couple days while it snowed back home. Condo was right on the beach. It was cold but still walked down the beach to eat lunch at local restaurant. We found a great coffee shot across street called Bad Ass coffee. Condo is a little tired but if you’re more concerned with being on beach and eating out this place is great. Would stay again.

I’ve stayed in both, 7A and 7B. No complaints at all. It’s right on the water and I love that it’s not crowded at all.

We have stayed there twice now and have enjoyed it both times!!! Great location. The parking is really tight if you have an suv or truck. The internet is very slow but that seemed to be anywhere at the beach. And the gas grill didn’t work at our unit. But nothing to keep us from staying here again in the future!!

The place was as described and private. Easy out the door to the beach. Place has a lot of kids beach toys and had some chairs we took down to the beach. You could however rent chairs and umbrella if you wanted. Place was clean and perfect for two people.

Overall I had a good experience. The location was right on the beach. If you are traveling with a young child this is a big deal as restaurants and the provided or left behind beach toys came in handy. We had an incident with noisy neighbors above but next time will stay on the 3rd floor to avoid this.

This listing is located on a private beautiful beach. Literally walk out the back door and your on the beach. The interior is your typical beach decor, pictures and descriptions are accurate. A wondeful place for a romantic getaway.

My mom and I really enjoy our stay March 23rd - 25th. We just wished it could’ve been longer! This location is close to many shops and restaurants. This unit was very cute, clean and comfortable for the two of us. We loved having our morning coffee on the covered patio enjoying the breeze from the ocean. We even spotted a few dolphins close to shore. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your lovely townhome/condo.

Clean, renovated, right on the pristine white sand of Destin. Beach not very crowded because it is private property. Perfect size for a couple for a weekend getaway. I noticed another mattress under the bed so probably even good for a small family. Neighbors upstairs were great and cooperative. Not a lot of noise even though they were a large family. Now I have a weekend getaway to go back to.

This is our second summer here at this place. We will be booking again next year! The apartment location is perfect. So close to everything. Our favorite part is the private beach area. We love that the “chair” guy doesn’t clutter up the beach and we have our own space!

The beach is just for owners/guests of the property!! We stayed the week before at a large house with 26 family members that claimed to have private beach access but really didn’t. Beach was cluttered with chairs & umbrellas from a company allowed to take up the front row of the beach. Imagine my surprise when that was not the case here! Once you step out of the patio doors all your cares disappear! Everything was clean & when a small problem did arise the owners were there immediately to take care of it. The bed was comfortable. Kitchen looked to be recently updated. I would only suggest maybe a leather/pleather sofa & chair just due to it being beach rental. The chairs the owner lets you use are nice & it’s saves hauling a bunch of stuff from home. It was perfect for my weeks vacation after the family vacation. Walking distance to Whale’s Tail which was perfect since I was there by myself & didn’t cook. Kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook. Very peaceful. I will definitely stay there again.

This was our first time to Destin and couldn’t be happier with our choice of Sticks in the Sand. Easy check in and out. Close to great restaurants. Unit clean and enough room for my husband, granddaughter,and I. Loved being right on the beach and had great view from our deck. We definately will return.

Perfect location and wonderful property! We had one of the best vacations we have had in a while. So relaxing and private. The property had everything we needed and was clean and in order. Super easy check-in and out. Right on the beach, which was amazing! Great coffee shop across the street. Minutes from all the “it” restaurants. We will be staying here again!

We had a great stay! This unit is perfect for a couple. We really enjoyed the proximity to the Whale's Tail and a convience store. Can't beat the 20 or so steps to the sand!

We stayed in 7B, our 2nd stay in this unit, and we loved it, again. The unit was clean and well equipped. All the appliances worked well. The extra large washer and dryer made cleaning our clothes and towels much easier. It's so nice not to get back home with loads of dirty laundry to wash. The ice maker was very handy for always having ice on hand without messing with ice trays. We loved Sticks in the Sand the first time which, brought us back again, and we plan to return in the future. We spent 98% of our time relaxing at the beach but for those with children or those who like to go places, there are countless places to go and things to do. Keep in mind, not everything is open during the "off season". We like to go the end of September or first part of October because it's a little less crowded and we don't go out much except to eat some delicious seafood which you can find throughout the area.

The view was beautiful. Our first trip to Destin was wonderful, even though we decided to leave early because of possible hurricane weather and traffic, it was a wonderful trip. We will be back!! Very clean place with a very short walk to the ocean. Everything I hoped for and more.

We enjoyed our week at this location it was just enough room for my husband and I and our 3 year old. The tenant's above us were very loud and left a huge mess on the lower deck all week that we were supposed to also have access too and we would walk our in the morning where they had flicked their cigarette butts through their deck onto ours. Other than our "neighbors" the location is perfect we really enjoyed the beach and had plenty of room to relax :-)

I wish you would of notified us of the noise and smoking issue as we ask all of our guest to be courteous of their neighbors and DO NOT allow any smoking in any of our properties and that includes they decks. The guest would have been warned and then evicted. But we are glad you enjoyed the stay despite the inconveniences and we look forward to your next visit.

This was a perfect spot for a couple who needed a break from winter up north. We were lucky that most days were in the low 70s, but it felt warmer than that with the sun shining. The studio apartment was all that we needed: a comfortable queen-size bed from where you could see out to surf and sky; an efficient kitchen with the necessary supplies for cooking. It would have been nice if there were a few hangers in the closet. The owner was quickly responsive via email when we couldn't figure out how to switch the TV to DVD mode. The best part was our private porch overlooking the beach. We were mostly content to enjoy the beach using the chairs provided, and going for walks and runs for miles along the beach edge. We did venture out to Pompano Joe's which had excellent food, and I would highly recommend. It was fun to go to the Whale's Tail Beach Bar Grill, but the food was mediocre. It was also fun to barbecue grouper from the Gulf right on our porch. When we did go for a drive, we were quite fortunate to find Deer Lake State Park, Santa Rosa Beach which features a wonderful walk through tropical vegetation and then a raised boardwalk through unspoiled sand dunes to eventually arrive at the beach.

Our stay at Sticks in the Sand ll was the most perfect vacation we could ever ask for, from the spacious and accommodations...to the wonderful view of the sunrise, and sunset....to watching the dolphins from the balcony. It was wonderful not having to worry about where we would "sit" on the beach, loved having our own private spot....we have nothing bad or negative to say about our stay, we plan on going back next year...like I said in the beginning, it was the best vacation ever...

This place is amazing! You literally step into to the sand from your private patio and are just a few steps away from the water. The view of the water is endless! Seeing the sunrise, moonrise, and sunsets over the water were breathtaking!! The sound of the waves is loud and incredibly relaxing with great sea breezes to keep you cool, even on the hottest of days. You don't think of anything but the beach! Just a 10 min drive to the harbor and walking/biking distance to other restaurants/bars. Simply amazing. I'll be back for sure and thank you for sharing your place with the rest of us!!

This is the most awesome beach we have ever been to. The sand is amazing and the water is crystal clear. The unit was very nice and had everything we needed. I highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back to this place every year.

This place could not have been any more perfect! The apartment was very clean and well decorated. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching the dolphins jumping in the surf. We especially loved how close we were to the powder soft sand and crystal clear water! I highly recommend staying here! We had no problems what-so-ever and would stay here again in a heart beat!

We had a great time! Never having used this web site before, we were a little uncertain, but this place exceeded our expectation! Would definitely recommend this place & hope to return. Bed was very comfortable, nice large bathroom, lots of extra touches provided, location was very handy to a number of shopping areas, restaurants, etc. Fantastic view from balcony, just steps from the beach, which was clean and private. We are tempted to give a bad review just to keep this place our secret.......... :) The location and unit were amazing. It had everything and more than we expected and we plan to go back again & again. Next time we will take less stuff though, since it had literally everything we needed except our clothes. The owners are great people too, and very oriented toward making your stay the best possible. Bed was extremely comfortable and the beach access was perfect. The private beach was the best, away from the public ones and neighboring guests were all there for the same reason as we were--to relax and enjoy the beach. I would recommend this place for any adults wanting a vacation away from it all to relax and enjoy the ocean.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet place to spend a few days with out the noise and crowds of others cities and hotel fronts. The condo was clean and as described in the ad and had plenty of space for a couple. We literally only had to walk down the patio stairs to be on a nice slice of it's private beach. Sticks in the Sand was very quick with any and all communications/concerns we had and made booking our first condo all the more pleasant. It was just a couple miles from all the hustle and bustle of the larger hotels and condos and it made for a quieter stay. Ever since we've been back , we've been bragging on the location and set up of this place. We are already planning a return visit here next year!

This was our first time in Florida and I wanted to stay in a condo. My wife on the other hand had other ideals. Thank god for that, we loved this place. The room was clean and comfortable. I was extremely happy when we opened the door to our room especial after we drew back the curtains to the back door. You couldn't ask for better access to the beach! We were on the lower level and had neighbors above us the whole time with NO issues what so ever. This rental was great. To sum it up, we can't wait to go back to Florida and this room will be where we will stay. Thank you for a great experience! !

This little studio was a fantastic find! We escaped New Orleans for a long weekend getaway to the perfect spot! Situated on a quiet strip of beach, it was wonderful being able to just run inside to make lunch or dinner & then head right back out. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed with the exception of a wine key which we were able to pick up across the street! Super convenient. The apartment was clean & updated. The deck looking out at the ocean was perfect for meals. The owner was fantastic & had great communication. Our deposit was promptly deposited back into our account. We will definitely be returning to Sticks in the Sand!

The pictures do not do it justice. It had everything we needed and was exactly where we wanted to be. Brand new kitchen, grill and flatscreens. The view from the porch was breathtaking and the beach is private so there was no one even on the beach. We would recommend it to anyone.
