The property was a great choice for the price point. Absolutely beautiful location, extremely well kept interior just steps from the sand. Communications with the host from booking through check in, during our stay and check out was phenomenal.

We really enjoyed our stay because the beach was our main attraction however if your hauling a Trailer be prepared to go through some maneuvering to get in and out of your vehicle and trailer other then that we had a great time!! The owner did work with us on parking it in the maintenance area so that wasn’t too bad! You have very little parking and yeah the place is a little dated and the mold smell is present but we mainly stayed on the beach so not a bad place all in all .! A mouse got in our bread which had me looking around for the little critter . We contacted the owner and he came right over to put in fresh bait . Mice are a protected species at the beach . Why who’s knows but we enjoyed the top deck and the private beach.!

I wanted a place where we could step out and be on the beach and this place did not disappoint. We loved staying here and will be back real soon!

Property does need some tlc. But we enjoyed it either way. The location was perfect and the beach steps away, saw dolphins from the room. The Circle K was across the street and allowed us to shop for any needs that came up. The location was also in between two bars on the beach, Whales Tail and Pompanos with Whales Tail just a quick walk away via the beach or road. If you are looking for a no frills stay near the beach this is it! We will definitely be back. There were more positives than negatives, parking could be an issue if traveling with two cars but we managed and this was communicated by the owner prior to arrival.

This was the perfect Vrbo rental for my crew and I. It was very clean, direct access to the beach, and plenty of restaurants and stores surrounding the property. I will definitely book again.

We loved being directly on the beach. We had private steps and didn’t have to share with anyone else. The outdoor shower was perfect for our children and they loved using the toys from the closet. We had everything we needed and didn’t have to buy beach toys! Very easy process to check in/out. Great space for our family. Plenty of room and can’t beat the location!!

The view is amazing and you cannot beat it! Because you have your own entrance to the beach! It has everything you need! To pots and pans and more! Even a gas bar b que pit! 😍😍

This place was perfect location. Right on the beach and the house is amazing and was Perfect for my family. We had an issue with the sliding glass door and they came promptly to help me with it. I will defiantly be returning.

We enjoyed not only the beautiful views, but the ease of actually staying there for a month. Fully equipped kitchen, large TVs, easy garage pick up, washer and dryer, grocery stores close by, and communication with James and his maintenance crew went so smoothly. Would definitely stay again. It was the best value in the area for the beach location.

If you're looking for "modern," look somewhere else. If you're looking for the most beautiful views, walk-on access to the beach; two private, spacious balconies (grill, table, chairs, lounge) with a ground-level deck; rustic interior appeal with really nice decorations; full-stocked kitchen with all the conveniences you need (and then some!); stunning views from every location; and walking distance to anything you need, this is the place. The house itself was very clean and all the basics were available. The owner and maintenance responded to any request or concern. There is a full-size washer and dryer in a small room in the back bedroom making it easy to keep laundry clean and not have to pack up dirty clothes! There are two restaurants within a 3 minute stroll. Pascalli Kitchen is an amazing find with the best biscuits, cinnamon rolls, pizza, salad and calzones that I've ever had! I didn't cook at all in the house because of the good food so close. The Winery is also just a short stroll - which is great because they don't skimp on the samples! Pompano Joe's is just under a mile walk and Whale's Tail is almost next-door (both with access from the beach itself). I wish I could even put into words how beautiful this place is. I wanted to just move in and never leave. You can hear the ocean all night from the back bedroom and step right out on the balcony to enjoy every sunset and sunrise. Having your own "private" beach is a wonderful experience. Destin/Ft Walton area has been a meeting spot for the past couple of years. We have family near the area, and we drive from the GA coast & meet with family driving from TX. I've rented several places, and this is my favorite by far.
